Welcome to AutoUA® – The Future of Clinical Relevance!

Picture2

The AutoUA® Quantitative Urinalysis System is a user-friendly automated system for the quantitative analysis of 12 analytes in human urine, resulting in up to 29 reportables. The AutoUA® uses automated clinical chemistry analyzers found in facilities ranging from small urology clinics to some of the largest labs in the world. The quantitative analysis of urine allows for significantly increased clinical relevance and improved diagnostics at the point of care.

Optimizing Patient Results and Run Time.

Over 30 analyzers have been validated and are available for use, ranging from small benchtop analyzers to large reference laboratory analyzers capable of assaying over 9,800 tests per hour. The AutoUA® system of reagents is compatible with Sciteck’s benchtop analyzer: the AUA450. This system will also run on the Olympus series instruments (including the AU480, and AU680), and various Beckman instruments, to name a few. Currently, the Sciteck system of reagents is used by large reference laboratories as well as small hospital laboratories, providing an alternative to the use of dipsticks or dipstick technology. The use of our system allows a laboratory to perform a urinalysis on a truly walk-away basis.

Why Switch to AutoUA®?

There are a multitude of reasons to make the swap from outdated dipsticks to the qualitative AutoUA® system of reagents – Here are some of our favorites.

FDA Clearance and Medical Necessity

The AutoUA® system is the only FDA cleared quantitative urinalysis system that replaces dipstick testing, gives physicians more accurate diagnostic information, and could increase reimbursements. The AutoUA® system was cleared by FDA as “Substantially Equivalent” to urinalysis dipstick testing, and it plugs into existing dipstick workflows with minimal staff training. Reporting for AutoUA® testing works the same as for dipstick testing except it is quantitative rather than qualitative.

Diagnostic Care

The AutoUA® is specifically designed to improve diagnostic care while significantly increasing specificity, sensitivity, and accuracy. Additionally, the AutoUA® automatically removes interferants that routinely cause false or inaccurate results on dipsticks.
THE GOAL OF EVERY LABORATORIAN AND CLINICIAN IS TO IMPROVE DIAGNOSTIC CARE!
